I started photography a long time ago. At the age of seven or eight there was the first Point-and -Shoot-Camera. Then at some point I inherited my mother’s viewfinder camera, later I bought my own cheap Yashica SLR. But only since I am owner of a DSLR my ambitions go beyond the snapshot and the vacation photo.<\/p>\n
Sometimes I think productivity goes down with increasing skill and expectations. Still over the years some photos seemed good enough to be shown. I am quite glad I don’t have to live of them, as I am a horrible sales person. I would never proclaim my own work art and advertise it as such. Occasionally I do commissioned work, but working on my own ideas I like more. And there’s still so much I can learn.<\/p>\n

Henkki Zakkinen ist nat\u00fcrlich ein Pseudonym. Entstanden aus einer albernen Spielerei hat es mir dann doch so gut gefallen, dass ich es behalten habe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ich fotographiere schon lange. Mit sieben oder acht gab es die erste Ritsch-Ratsch-Klick-Kamera. Dann habe ich irgendwann die Sucherkamera meiner Mutter geerbt, irgendwann eine eigene g\u00fcnstige Yashica-SLR erworben. Aber erst seit ich Besitzer einer digitalen Spiegelreflex bin gehen meine Ambitionen \u00fcber den Schnappschuss und das Urlaubsphoto hinaus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Manchmal denke ich, mit steigendem Anspruch sinkt meine Produktivit\u00e4t. Dennoch sind im Laufe der Jahre ein paar ganz gute Aufnahmen zusammen gekommen, die ich hier zeigen m\u00f6chte. Bin ganz froh, dass ich davon nicht leben muss. Denn ich bin ein furchtbarer Verk\u00e4ufer und w\u00fcrde auch nie behaupten, dass das, was ich mache, Kunst sein, geschweige denn es als solches anpreisen. Manchmal mache ich zwar auch Auftragsarbeiten, aber viel lieber das, was mir selber gef\u00e4llt. Und es gibt noch sooo viel zu lernen und probieren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
